                              First, turn the louvers to the open position.

                View your Verticals ^from underneath the Head-rail.
         Where each stem is located, is a backward E configuration,
            pointing left. Each - Dash above is a stem you want to
      take out. Just pop the old stem out to the left, and pop the new
    one in to the right. Some head-rails may require gear racks, sold
  separately. If you have gear racks, you will see them,when you pop

Measuring for replacement Cord Loop,
otherwise known as a "Continuous Cord Loop"
First of all if your cord loop is broken, do not throw it out,
you will need to measure it. Place it on the ground and fit it
back together, forming a circle. Next , close the circle so that
you now have the cord in a straight line (2) lines as shown below:

If your Cord loop has not broken, but still on - Measure for the new Cord
by, measuring from the tip of the cord loop to the underside of the Headrail.

Replacing a continuous cord loop

1) Remove the blind from its brackets. This is usually accomplished by
pushing on the head rail from the front side and then tilting down. Sometimes
there is a small tab on the backside of the brackets, near the bottom, that you
can release to dislodge the rail.

2) Remove the cover of the cord loop mechanism to expose the gear that drives
the internal workings. This is either done by gently prying off the cap with a small
thin screwdriver or a household butter knife. Be very careful and try not to break the
plastic tangs on the cover. Some models have small screws that are holding the cap in place.

3) Once the cover is off, remove the old cord if you have not done so already. Take the
new cord and guide it into the teeth of the gears (SEE DIAGRAMS 1-5 ON THE LEFT).
This is very similar to putting a chain back on the sprocket of a bicycle. Reattach the cover
and rehang the blind.

Measuring for replacement Cord Loop -
Otherwise known as a "Continuous Cord Loop" First of all if your cord loop is broken, do not throw it out,

so that you now have the cords together in a straight line (2) lines as shown below, then Measure the length:

cord loop to the underside of the Headrail. Accounting for wear.

On used cord loops, allow at least a couple inches Stretch.
Allow 2-4" inches or the next size on our chart above.
